Drawing on the multi-disciplinary fields of archaeology, chemistry and medicine that shed new light on this event, in addition to known historic sources and material evidence, the exhibit provides visitors with the elements necessary to enable them to conduct the investigation by themselves.
To display the variety of objects and documents that provide this more complete picture, the team at the Army Museum at Les Invalides, Paris, chose a variety of FRANK case types – predominantly tower and table cases, based on their ongoing success with FRANK cases for previous exhibits.
To reflect upon the bicentenary of the death of Napoleon, on May 5, 2021, Musée de l’Armée (Museum of the Army) programmed a cultural season dedicated to this major figure in French and European history and his death in exile on Saint Helena.
